Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address. We store this to identify your account and keep your collection private from other users. We do not receive your Google password or any other Google account information.

When you add shoes to your collection, we store the details you provide: shoe name, SKU, size, condition, purchase price, purchase date, wear count, and any notes you add.

If you submit feedback through the app, we store your name, email address, and message.

Analytics

With your consent, we use Vercel Analytics to understand how the app is used. It collects anonymous data such as page views and navigation patterns. No personally identifiable information is collected and no advertising profiles are built.

You can accept or decline analytics when you first visit the app, and change your preference at any time in Settings.

Error monitoring

We use Sentry to capture application errors. When an error occurs, Sentry may record technical details such as the page you were on and a stack trace. This data is used solely to diagnose and fix bugs and is not shared with third parties or used for advertising.

Why we collect it

Your email address is used solely to identify your account. We do not use it for marketing emails.

Your collection data is used to power the app — tracking value, rotation, wear history, and recommendations. It is not shared with other users or third parties.

Feedback submissions are used to improve the app. We may reply to the email address you provide.

Who can see your data

Only you and the app administrators. Your collection is protected by row-level database access controls — no other user can read or modify your data. Market price data is shared across users but contains no personal information.

Third-party services

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate Nextsole:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
• Vercel — app hosting and anonymous analytics (with consent).
• Sentry — error monitoring.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Google — sign-in only. We receive your email address; no other Google account data is stored or processed by us.

Market price data is sourced from third-party APIs. No personal data is sent to these services.

Cookies

Nextsole uses session cookies required for authentication via Supabase. These are strictly necessary for the app to function. With your consent, Vercel Analytics may also set a cookie to track anonymous usage. No advertising cookies are used.

Your rights

You have the right to access, export, and delete your data at any time:

• Export — download a copy of your collection data as a JSON file from Settings → Download my data.
• Clear collection — permanently delete all your collection data while keeping your account active, from Settings → Clear my collection.
• Delete account — permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete my account. This cannot be undone.
• Analytics consent — change your analytics preference at any time in Settings.

Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed. Anonymised feedback content may be retained after account deletion.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The date at the top of this page will reflect the last update.
